Polk / Highlands counties have over 1000 fresh water lakes and most of them are crammed with world class fishing. 10 Lb bass are NOT uncommon! Easy pickins'! Right next door, there's holes of manicured golf..CART INCLUDED FOR A VERY reasonable price. Drive your golf cart over or take your car. Plenty of parking. If fishing is your thing, no need to travel all over the county, the fishing just across the way in Clinch lake (see it from my house) is BASS HAVEN! Crappie (big ones) can be cought in MANY of the other nearby lakes...many spring fed and very clear!. The neighbors will be happy to share a few great fishing spots. Being a former Pro Tourney fisherman, I can let you know where to go and where to avoid! Example...Santa Fe Lake is famous for 2 + LB Crappie! George's lake for lots of legal size Crappie with an occasional whopper. Your monthly lot fee includes water, sewer, trash, lawn care, taxes, club house with heated pool, and yummy get togethers to meet, greet, and eat several times a year. Also shuffle Board, Pickle Ball and basketball courts. AND a couple of small stakes poker games weekly.
